Eel restaurant at the back of Matsushiro Hot Springs. The restaurant has the appearance of a normal house, not an old house style. Ordered the grilled eel on the rice of bowl (Una-don), The flavour of the Una-don is slightly different from other similar restaurants and the sauce, which is not too sweet, is very tasty. The aroma was good and the eel was worth the price. Car parking lot is available. Cash only when I visited years ago. Recommended to book or just phone call prior to visit.

It's time to revisit Kazui-san ☺️ The skin is crispy and the flesh is fluffy, unglazed and steamed. Sauce is a little dark Rice from Uonuma The meat is grilled slowly over Binchotan charcoal to remove the fat, and the meat is not exposed to flames. Deep-fried loach is served with salt. Crispy and fragrant, you can't stop drinking. It was delicious!

It's a good local shop with a warm heart. It is run by a very nice elderly couple. It is not so crowded at night, so it seems that the opening time may be shifted. Well-grilled eel is fragrant and delicious. Nozawana is also great. Please visit together with the nearby Matsushiro Onsen.
