Fujioka, Gunma, Japan｜Akagi

This is one of the top of the class Unagi (freshwater eel) restaurants. They only have Unagi dishes and offer both Kabayaki (charcoal-grilled and drizzled with sauce) and Shirayaki (charcoal-grilled but no sauce, with wasabi). The menu looks pricy but worth the cost!

You can eat eel at a reasonable price. The eel grilled over Kishu Bincho charcoal is very tender.
