Tatebayashi, Gunma, Japan｜魚又

I received the special Unaju (3,300 yen). It seems reasonable compared to other specials around here that cost around 4,000 yen. The size and texture of the eel, as well as the grilling and sauce, were well-balanced and I honestly thought it was delicious. The liver water is also delicious without being too strong. A slice of citrus (pink grapefruit) dessert is also good. The eel's fat and sauce will leave your mouth feeling refreshed. (I'm sure there are quite a few people who want to leave a lingering aftertaste...) Although it is not directly related to eel, there were yellow plum blossoms in the parking lot of the store. Although I visited in late January, I could feel the arrival of spring even in the bitter cold.

Kaba-yaki rice (with soup) & carp The kabayaki skin is crispy and the eel meat is firm and delicious😋 The carp meat tastes like it's been simmered so much that even the bones are soft.

I ate eel, carp wash, and carp koku. I was able to eat at this large restaurant without making a reservation.
