best unagi restaurant in Mouka city Tochigi, freshly prepared and grilled with binchotan charcoal served with original unagi sauce made in-house. Mr Okisugi who is special unagi chef only uses eel caught in Mikawa area which is known as the most prestige eel in Japan. However the price is amazingly reasonable (almost 1/2 compared to Tokyo) and that reflects the owner of the restaurant’s humble attitude and respect toward unagi. I truly recommend this little hidden gem. Eel is not fishy at all and the skin wasn’t rubbery so moist juicy with full of fat fluffy and melts in your mouth. Amaze bawl!

I got the special eel on rice. Even the special is 3500 yen, so it's cheap these days. The eel was very soft and baked well and the sauce was just right and it was very delicious. The amount of rice is small, so it may be a little unsatisfactory for men. The extra 90 yen for a large serving is just right. By the way, my wife said that the normal serving was enough. It seems better to make a reservation like a popular restaurant. Was it the landlady that impressed you? The spirit of customer service is wonderful. It was wonderful to have a customer service that welcomed customers instead of the blunt customer service that is common in the countryside.

I searched for a place with delicious eel around Mashiko and arrived at this restaurant. I made a reservation in advance, so I put it in without waiting. It was a relatively small restaurant with 5 table seats, but it had a nice atmosphere and I was able to eat delicious eel, and my parents were very satisfied! Umaki was on the menu, so I ordered it by phone when making a reservation, but I was told that it might be difficult due to the busy season, so I gave up, but I was impressed that it was prepared on the day! It was so delicious. I am very satisfied with the price, service, and atmosphere, and I would like to visit again.
