If you come alone to eat the highly recommended children's set meal, adults can also order it. Although the amount of eel is small, you can get pudding without the pickles, which is super happy! Then you can order a chawanmushi a la carte, the chawanmushi is very tender! The eel is super delicious! I like the crunchy texture on the edges, and the sauce also goes well with rice. I highly recommend it!

I discovered an eel restaurant called ``Una Kita'' in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. I had never heard of this restaurant in the Kanto region, but I was starving so I went in. You will be guided to the back floor, which has a high ceiling and a cozy retro atmosphere. I took the plunge and ordered the special eel (4,800 yen is cheap!) It was plump, the sauce was a little sweet, and it was very delicious. It has become one of the restaurants I want to return to when I visit Kurashiki again on a business trip.
