Fukuyama, Hiroshima, Japan｜割烹 魚勝

Had a great experience here. We came right when the store opened so there wasn't anyone else. The lady owner(?) was very detailed in her explanation of how to eat uzumi. For English speakers: The top layer is rice, but the bottom consists of 11 varieties of food (including some seafood). Pour the soup into your bowl, and put the plum in after you've eaten half the food. :)

Excellent fish and delicious eel dishes

We spent a night in Fukuyama and were looking for some place to have dinner. We were gladly surprised by this place, the sushi and raw fish dishes were awesome and the attention from the owner and the chef was also very nice.
