Kurashiki, Okayama, Japan｜Sushi Katsu

The chef and everyone are very nice and professional. The food quality is very high and the environment is very clean and decent. The ingredients are very fresh with the professional cooking. They are really passionate and professional about their food products, recommendation and they love sharing with us about the experience of their life around here (not only food but also all the things they have experienced) Meanwhile, the old lady is very cute as my mum. Even though they know we do not understand Japanese, they (especially the grandma) keep their best to introduce and help us enjoy the best. The chef (owner) speaks English to try to share his experience with us and we really love everything of it. It is more than eating and it is a journey in here. It is the most wonderful dinning experience in Japan I have ever had and it makes me comment a lot (I never comment even if there would be discount for it or not but it is worth doing it！

The ingredients are delivered from the fish market every morning. So, i can taste how fresh the sushi are while i chew. The chef are nice and talkative, when he's making of sushi.

10 stars ⭐️!!! Wow!!! An amazing Chef, Motofumi, family run restaurant for 60 years and so friendly and helpful and the food is amazing!! Tuna, sea urchin, snapper, roe, everything was delicious and prepared right in front of us with love and care!! Ask for Omakase or point to the photos out front or use Google translate. And then the Chef helped us plan the rest of our trip in Japan…. This is a MUST in Kurashiki and indeed, Japan!!!
