Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Unagi Yaotoku Honten

The restaurant is just north across the station. It is quite crowded during lunch time. They offer unagi chazuke, unagi set, and unagi donburi. I tried the unagi set and unagi chazuke. It costed around ¥4000 each. The unagi was grilled perfectly, and the tare sauce did not overwhelm the flavor of the unagi. Highly recommended to try one of the best unagi in Hamamatsu.

Got the eel and sashimi set! It was definitely worth making a stop between Tokyo and Kyoto. Service was exceptional!
