My friend was coming from Kanto, so I did some research with my local colleagues. It is said to be Kansai style and delicious! We shared shirayaki and kabayaki, and the eel was so soft that you couldn't feel the bones, but the surface was so crispy that the meat and fat melted on your tongue as you chewed...I was surprised at how delicious eel can be! An eel restaurant that you'll want to visit when you go to Hamamatsu. For me, there is no place that can beat this Kansai-style restaurant. The way the 4 slices are arranged is unique, and I like the sibling restaurant Aoiya, which has the same arrangement, but I prefer this one because I feel like the sauce is less sweet.
