We stopped at this rest area for a break and eat dinner in mid November 2022. We tried the cheapest Yen 1,580 eel bowl and liked it very much and had to order another bowl as it was fairly small. Please look at the spoon and chopstick for relative size comparison. The rest area restrooms were very clean.

Since I was in Hamamatsu, I decided to try Hitsumabushi. Although the amount of eel was not that large, the taste was quite delicious. After all, it's a food court, so even though you're paying a fairly high price, it's a shame that the atmosphere is not at all relaxing.
