Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan｜Choraku Hamamatsu

Ordered a Hitsumabushi meal, and I can assure you it doesn't dissapoint. The unagi is soft and sweet, it just melts in your mouth. There are 3 different ways we can consume this: spread wasabi on the unagi, eat it with spring onion, or eat it with the soup. I know lots of foreigners don't like wasabi, but if you consume it with appropriate amount of wasabi, it tastes better than plain unagi. Also ordered crab-flavored tofu and chawanmushi. I really didn't expect that a tofu could contain that rich amount of crab flavor. And for the chawanmushi, as you can see from the video, it's really jiggly (and delicious as well).

So far the best unagi I've had! We tried their 2 way unagi and it was so delicious. Will surely come back when we visit Hamamatsu again!
