Hasebe is an amazing unagi (eel) restaurant. Definitely order the Unagi-donburi and the soup. The large order comes with three pretty sizeable double filets of eel. The staff are really friendly and accommodating, and the flavors of even the pickles were quite unique. Nagoya is apparently known for its unagi, and this was highly recommended by locals in town.

A famous store that has been popular for a long time. I had the opportunity to have it for the first time in 10 years. It's delicious. Delicious eel with the aroma of charcoal. Carefully grilled, the eel has a fluffy texture and crispy skin. The sweet and spicy sauce went well with the eel, and it was an extremely high-quality dish. I didn't notice any unpleasant odor or texture from the eel. It was a feast. I would like to ask you again.
