(Visited in September 2023) I visited this place because it was a recommended eel restaurant in Shimizu. I've never eaten hitsumabushi before, so I'm going to try it! The quantity was 0.5 eel (Kankichi Hitsumabushi), but it was just the right amount. It seems that this eel is double the normal size (Specially Selected Hitsumabushi), and everyone who ordered that ordered the large bowl of rice. The Kansai-style crunchy texture was exquisite and delicious.

I ordered special eel ju, grilled liver, and bottled beer, and the appetizer came with boiled liver. First, the grilled liver, each piece was large, freshly grilled, and plump. It's rude to compare, but it looks and tastes different from the ones sold at supermarkets. Next, I chose this eel restaurant because I like the Kansai-style crispy eel, and the taste did not disappoint. I still want to use it.
