Toki, Gifu, Japan｜Shinsaibashi

I've always been interested in the yellow sign that I can see from Route 19, so I went there for the first time. It was the midsummer day of the year, so I was worried and called before going. General with plenty of charm. Other customers also chatted casually. The umaki recommended by the regulars is truly exquisite. I can't get enough of the smell while I'm making it. The eel in the kettle is also fragrant with charcoal. I was surprised that the scent of seaweed goes so well with eel. I ordered Shirayaki. When I thought it was another store, I was worried that it might be too cheap, but there were many autographs of various celebrities, so I think it's probably okay. I'm curious about other menus, so I want to go again.

I visited in the evening. The price was cheap and I didn't miss the taste. It's a great restaurant. I want to visit again. Because of the owner and his wife who were considerate even though I was a foreigner. I had a comfortable meal with an acquaintance. Thank you. I ate egg rolls before eating pot rice. It was soft. Full of eel flavor

This time I tried the sous pot (soup & pot rice)! Rich soup mixed with kamameshi🤭🤭😋😁 The standard omelette pot is delicious, but I want to try different things 🤔 Mr. Shinsaibashi, the husband runs the kitchen by himself, so it takes about 30 minutes for the food to be served. Advance reservations are recommended.
