At first the owner did not want to serve me as I dine alone. Then three other Japanese customers came so the owner accepted me in. Thanks to the three Japs as i get to enjoy the oiiishiiii unagi set. Price is slightly on the higher side (JPY6,000 and the owner triple confirming with me before accepting me in), but totally worth it.

I visited for lunch in August 2023 and ordered an eel bowl set, grilled liver and non-alcoholic beer. First, Umaki, tofu, and sashimi are served as the "three seasonal small dishes" included in the gozen. All of these items are perfect for drinking. Next, grilled liver. The meat was relatively plump and delicious. The eel in the eel bowl has a firm response without being too soft. It was not persistent and slightly refreshing, and it was very delicious. The sauce is not too sweet, not too spicy, and has just the right amount of flavor to suit your taste. The rice had just the right amount of firmness, and the sansho (Japanese pepper) was very flavorful and stimulated my appetite. The Japanese-themed interior is a calm space, and I was able to enjoy my meal in a relaxed and comfortable manner.

We ate quietly and slowly. The sauce had just the right amount of saltiness and I ate it all up. Only course can be reserved for 6,000 yen. We also ordered Shirayaki. It was a lot because it was fatty, but it was enough to eat.
