After walking around Mt. Kinka and Gifu Castle, I stopped by here with my 4-year-old and my parents. We ordered eel bowl lunch, hitsumabushi lunch, and seafood bowl for children. Although I felt sorry, I asked if the sashimi for the seafood bowl could be cut into smaller pieces for children, and they happily agreed. (In the picture of the menu, wasabi was on top of the kaisendon, and I thought it was a shame! However, the finished kaisendon was served with wasabi separately. Thank you very much! I visited you for the first time in 3 years! The tatami room has been changed to a regular table seat... I also ordered eel liver ^_^, It has a really old-fashioned taste and is simply delicious 🥹 Eel in Gifu City is My fish and a half is a good value. Due to the volume, I think it's the most delicious 😘 The owner has always been a simple person, The staff are also kind. I wanted to eat eel, so I went to Uohan with a friend. There are many ways to grill eel, and this restaurant uses the type that grills the skin until it's crispy. By dipping it in spicy sauce and grilling it many times, it becomes fragrant kabayaki. I am grateful that I can ask for less, normal, or more rice. Eel bowl lunch is 2100 yen (as of 2021/07/07). In addition to the eel bowl, there is a soup with sea bream fillets (or eel meatballs depending on the day), chawanmushi, salad, and pickled vegetables. I'm a fan of this flavor because I've been going here since I was a kid. It reminds me of the old days. There are 2 parking spaces in front of the store.
