More Comments at Google Mapone of the best eel dish I’ve ever eaten so far. The shop decorations are traditional, the staffs are humble and polite. The eel was worth the money. It is comparatively expensive but it’s worth it. It is highly recommended to visit the place if anyone goes in town.
Come to think of it, there's an eel restaurant I've eaten at many times, but I've never posted about it, and I think it's the most delicious. I always buy Hansuke as a souvenir. Then you can enjoy the atmosphere of eel bowl every night for several days.
A long-established eel restaurant in Kuwana. Opens at 11:00 am. When I visited during the opening hours on a weekday in July, I entered the store without lining up. I ordered the special glazed bean curd because it was mentioned in the reviews that it can only be eaten here. While waiting for the eel, I also ordered simmered liver so that the fragrant aroma would not make me hungry. About 20 minutes after ordering, the special glazed large serving arrived. When you open the lid, a nice fragrant aroma rises up. Eel and chopped seaweed carved on top of rice. When you take a bite, the flavor of the crispy grilled eel spreads in your mouth and you switch on. As you continue to eat, you will find an eel carved in the middle. And Narazuke (?), which is finely chopped and mixed with rice, is a good accent and delicious. It was a satisfying dish with liver soup. Let's order the eel bowl next.
