I visited on a weekday evening. I always use this place when I eat eel. Eel is my favorite food and I eat it often, and I believe there is no better place to eat eel in the Mino region than here. There is a parking lot for about 10 cars in front of the store. This time, as usual, I ordered Shirayaki and Hitsumabushi. Shirayaki is eaten with three types of seasoning: ponzu sauce, soy sauce, and salt, but I personally recommend ponzu sauce as it has a refreshing taste and goes well with the eel. The hitsumabushi is so large that it's filled with eel covered in sauce that almost spills out of the lid, and the rice is soaked in the sauce, making it very delicious. Of course, the eel here is well-cooked, but I personally prefer the sauce compared to other restaurants. I won't talk about how to eat hitsumabushi here, but it comes with condiments of wasabi, seaweed, and green onions, as well as a dashi soup stock that you can refill, so you can have fun eating it. The price is reasonable since it's eel, but I think it's more than worth the price compared to the taste. The restaurant has a calm and chic atmosphere, is clean, and has table seats as well as tatami rooms, so it is frequented by people of all ages. Customer service is also very polite and personable. Electronic payments such as PayPay are also supported, which is very convenient and has a lot of points. If you want to eat eel, I can definitely recommend this place.

This eel restaurant always has a long line of people and a full parking lot at lunchtime. I happened to be able to visit him when he was free. Hitsumabushi and eel bowls are available in small, medium, and large sizes. I received a small portion of Hitsumabushi, but it was more than enough. The eel was crispy, fragrant and delicious.

I ordered a large hitsumabushi. The eel was so big that it almost popped out of the lid. The broth was very thick and delicious. I would have liked the sauce to be a little darker. The eel was thick and tender. Ask for extra sauce It was nice to be able to adjust it to my liking.
