Our family and extended family reserved lunch here. If you like うなぎ (eel) dishes, then this is a great, affordable spot. It's old school. The environment is very traditional, no fancy booths or tables or private spaces. The first floor is tight but cosy, the second floor is open and roomy and shared. You're better off making reservations for this restaurant, or you'll be waiting a while. Down to the food and service. Excellent! The food served to our children was awesome. Both loved the main, eel, and our girls like Yakult so that was a bonus. They were also served an honest size egg role along with a snack packet. As far as us adults, we all ordered hitsumabushi (ひつまぶし. DELICIOUS!!! I highly recommend taking your family here for a good dine. Staff are friendly and felt family run. The eel was amazing to eat. Beautiful tatami room, friendly and warm staff, absolutely delicious food, and a sophisticated yet rustic atmosphere.
