Tajimi, Gifu, Japan｜Sawasen

The unagi don set great for lunch, i was walking around in the sakura season looking into the anime lets make a mug too~☆ found a scene where they eat unagi don in tajimi pottery town, after a long walk was time for lunch and i was waiting polite by the door.

Sawasen taught at the Oribe Utsuwa House on Oribe Street, Tajimihonmachi. We ate hitsumabushi at a quaint restaurant along a quaint street. The seasoning and grilling of the eel was just right. I thought it would be too extravagant to make it into ochazuke, but the bonito stock and crispy eel skin are exquisite. The small, rare green peppercorns have a refreshing scent. Although it was a rainy trip, I felt more satisfied.

When I went to Tajimi, I heard about eel, so I visited. Sunday afternoon, just before the order stop. I arrived a little before 14:30, but they were very kind. ☑️Jodon (changed to liver soup) ☑️ Umaki (half) The eel is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside 💕 I add the sauce myself, but in order to enjoy the flavor of the eel itself, I purposely didn't add any additional sauce. The Umaki is also an elegant jiggly ball with a sweet and gentle taste. It also comes with grated radish. The food is delicious, and the restaurant is very clean and comfortable.
