I had the BLT Egg sandwich and a cup of hot coffee. The sandwich was the best sandwich I have had in years. This includes ones that I have made at home. The coffee was quality coffee. It was a roast midway between first and second crack so had some of the acidity that some enjoy. It is perhaps my least favorite roast but it was, all in all, a great cup of coffee. Others in our party raved about the food. The prices were about 800 yen including coffee and a small salad, the service was fast. It is right in the train station and there is free parking. I would love to eat there again.

UDO is a great asset for the small, traditional pottery village of Bizen. Delicious, slow-pour-over coffee served with sandwiches & cakes on Bizen pottery in a stylish remodeled station room. Cozy with big windows & natural light despite gloomy old concrete station. Also coffee roaster of high-quality beans. Take-out available for coffee, beans & related goods. Unfortunately no toilet inside, station front toilets are rough, better to use 2f toilet up stairs at back of souvenir shop.
