This restaurant and cafe is located in the 2F of Okutama station. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite and a beer before heading out to nature if you’re arriving, or heading back to the city. They specialize in Japanese Curry, and you can get great coffee in the gift shop area. Be sure to have cash, most of Okutama doesn’t accept credit cards.

I could live here! This cafe has literally everything I love. Curry (including vegetarian option.) Coffee. Craft beer (with correct information including style, IBU and ABV.) Ice cream. A perfect Japanese toilet 🤩 A view of the trains. Live music. An outdoor store. Omg! I would drive here from Tokyo just for the cafe alone. 😍

Stumbled upon this place by accident and boy was I glad I did! The restaurant is located on the second floor of the station along with a cafe and second-hand gear shop. The cafeteria/restaurant serves a well-portioned size of different curry. It seems that the place may also have live music since there is a stage at the front. Curry was very filling and the perfect dish after a long day of hiking. They also serve some of the local beer from VERTERE here. Offers a nice view of the mountains and the train station. Will definitely come back!
