Mt. Shiroyama is around 45 mins on foot from Mt. Takao and is my preferred destination when the latter is too crowded. Shiroyama chaya 城山茶屋 serves awesome oden おでん all year round and their namekojiru なめこ汁 is great too. On a clear day the view of the valley (and Mt. Fuji) is amazing. For a longer hike you can walk down to Lake Sagamiko from here (around 60 mins). Strongly recommended 👍🏼

Nameko soup is the most delicious. I always drink when I come here. There are a lot of seats, so you won't have to say "I can't sit". I am always grateful for your help! You can eat shaved ice in summer!
