Machida, Tokyo, Japan｜The CAFE Machida

Excellent service, comfortable atmospheric interior and delicious food and drink. I have passed this for years and intended to go but never ventured up to the first floor to visit until today. It was well worth it, will return!

Great atmosphere and kind staff. The morning menu from 8:00-11:00 is pretty basic and had two main offerings of toast or French toast plus some different sides and drinks. The best part is the location overlooking the street and the chill atmosphere. It’s a nice spot to have breakfast or brunch. It’s about a 2 minute walk from the Machida train station.

Visited for the first time last Sunday with a friend who was kind to make a reservation for us. Lovely atmosphere and decent food. I had a roast chicken brunch set which was served with toast. Part of the toast tasted like cheese which was surprising. I would definitely visit again in the future though.
