The Oizumigakuen area is not really known for its coffee shops or baked goods - Coeru is a standout store which bucks this trend. Located just south across the tracks from the Emio building, the indoor seating fits a few customers comfortably. Decor is third wave coffee shop chic, but a more toned down feel that fits the area. Select sweets are available daily, and the coffee selection is well sourced and prepared. They can make anything to go or eat in. If you are in the area, choose Coeru över Starbucks för a sweet or coffee.

I don't know much about baked goods or coffee, and I don't even drink coffee, but the chai was really delicious 🙂💗 The strength and sweetness of the spices are just right, the cup is simple and smooth to the touch, and the taste and appearance match the atmosphere of the restaurant😊💕 As for baked goods, there are no so-called fresh Western sweets, such as pound cakes, muffins, scones, cookies, etc., but really only baked goods. The price is quite high and it is very delicious! As an amateur, I wasn't sure if this was the case (or rather, there was a pretty famous restaurant in the area where I originally lived, and the food there was just too delicious?), but considering the cost of the location, it was worth it. 🙂✨ It's a small store with 2 counter seats and 4 table seats, but that's why it doesn't get noisy due to the number of customers 🙂💖 On the other hand, when a baby came in, their cries were muffled and it was quite noisy, so I decided to leave right away because they wouldn't comfort me💦 The lighting, interior decoration, and BGM inside the store are very relaxing, and even though I don't usually read books, I thought I'd like to read a book here next time😊❣️ It's cash only and not open during morning hours, but I hope that changes in the future 🙂💕
