Such a nice little spot, run by a nice man, serving tasty, unique food. My wife and I saw the sign on the street, popped in for a few dishes, enjoyed everything we ate, including the homemade brown sugar ginger ale.

The intense heat continues even into September. I went to a sweets shop in Nishi-Ogikubo looking for shaved ice, but it was already full and the line was long. Still, I want to eat shaved ice! What should I do? That's when I suddenly came up with the name ``hana.'' There's shaved ice here! This is my first visit in a while. Take off your shoes and visit the Japanese-style room inside the store. It's like visiting your neighbor's house. Now, when I looked at the shaved ice menu, something called "An coffee" jumped into view. Hmm, I'm curious. So I ordered it without hesitation. What arrived was shaved ice with the face of a bear. I couldn't help but smile at how cute it was! I keep eating the crispy food without saying a word. Oh, the coffee and condensed milk give it just the right amount of sweetness! As I took a deep breath and thought it was delicious, I noticed something hard at the bottom. ? ? ? So I scooped it up with a spoon, and lo and behold, beans came out. I see, it's "An" from "An Coffee". I was so satisfied with the shaved ice that came with the coffee that I forgot about the existence of red bean paste. However, the beans that have been completely chilled with shaved ice are harder than expected. It looks like it's gotten really cold. Personally, I went without the red bean paste, but it was still delicious. The staff at "hana" are very kind and helpful, so you can spend your time comfortably. thank you. I'll visit you again!

If you leave Nishi-Ogikubo Station and go straight on the road that leads south, There is a store sign, so turn there. As other people have written in their reviews The entrance looks like a detached house. It may take some courage to open the door, but if it's beyond the sign in the photo, it's probably right, so it's okay. (lol) A little different from the typical cafe image It's a hideaway-style cafe, and you take off your shoes at the entrance. The inside of the restaurant is a Japanese-style room with tatami mats that give it a nice taste. The accessories matched the atmosphere of the room and were so nice that I couldn't help but look around. I ordered mugwort tea and soy milk chai tea. There were two ways to pour mugwort tea. Perhaps because of that, I felt like I could feel the fragrance even more. It had no taste and was very easy to drink. I think I enjoyed it for about 2-3 brews. The soy milk chai was very spicy and delicious. The ginger-like scent and the slight sweetness of the warm soy milk were a perfect match. This time I only ordered drinks. I was also interested in the rice dishes as they were all very appealing. In particular, I will definitely try the enzyme brown rice set meal and Korean food next time. Azuki that is not too sweet? Anko? This restaurant seems to recommend this restaurant's menu, so I'll try it next time. Personally, I almost gave in to the temptation of the limited-time chocolate an bread and ohagi. I will be using this again.
