I miss this place so much. It was one of my favorite parts of living in 文京! Sitting in a beautiful, open space with the kindest people serving you, the best coffee I have EVER had, and the best avocado toast IN EXISTENCE! I didn't even LIKE coffee or avocado toast before I had them here. The bread alone is amazing! Perfect for reading, chatting, etc. I speak Japanese so I'm not sure what it's like for a person who doesn't, but the 日本語下手 friends I sent to CIBI never had a problem. If you want some 会話練習 with a friendly person this is a good bet! I'm saving up to come back ❤️ worth the $3000 flight. CIBIが大好きだよ!

Relaxing atmosphere and nice, minimalistic decor. Food was fantastic: a bit of a subtle Japanese twist to the ingredients. I had scrambled eggs and added avocado to my order. Great coffee. I would personally skip the carrot cake, however.

Lovely cafe with a small shop at the entrance. Staff is very welcoming and there is a lovely vibe inside, great music choice too! Probably just a little more expensive than expected, as we spent ¥1,800 for a banana muffin, café latte and a mikan juice. Thought the name was the Italian word for "foods" but turns out it's actually just ちび 😄
