Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Hakone Roman-tei

OMG, the best Monblan I had in my life. It's not that sweet, very light in taste and goes amazingly well. The place itself has a very nice design and atmosphere, welcoming in a way. You might have to wait a bit, because it takes time to prepare monblant, but for me it was like 7 minutes or so. And as I have mentioned, the place is quite cozy. Menu has English explanations, so you won't feel lost, even if you don't speak much of Japanese. Staff is polite and nice. Could give 10 stars if I could!

Quaint little Western style dessert place that specialises in Mont Blanc but also serves Japanese desserts and ice cream. The royal milk tea is absolutely delicious and incredibly fragrant. A friendly old waitress manages the tea room and wait times can be a slightly long if the place is full. However that’s rarely a problem as this is a place you’d like to sit and relax. The window seats provide a lovely elevated view of the main Hakone street.
