Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜NARAYA CAFE

I am writing this review now that it has already been 3 months since I visited Hakone. Naraya Cafe gave me unforgettable memories during my first trip to Japan in 23 years with my wife, whom I met while studying abroad in Japan. It's a place that feels like home after a difficult city life. Making and eating sweet monaka with cool iced coffee was a simple but rich taste that has never been felt anywhere else in the world. And the kindness and warmth of the cafe owner and staff is something I will never forget and miss. Even now that we're back in Quornstown, New Zealand, we miss it and hope to visit again someday. I miss you so much~~^^ I support you all at Naraya Cafe.

Visited this cafe for tea. A beautiful cafe perched on a hill overlooking the Hakone valleys. I love the ambiance as it feels like I’m in a log cabin high up in the woods. The cafe offers nice snacks and a good coffee at decent prices. I’ll recommend this place to anyone who is passing through.

Nice spot to relax and eat lunch while in Hakone. There are tables with foot baths and beautiful views. Food was not expensive but the menu is a little limited. Overall it was a great experience.
