Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Pan no Mimi

Very nice cosy cafe with lovely food and a great atmosphere. It is a bit of a steep walk down from Gora station, but totally worth the effort. Menu is not in english so we used google translate to help.

This is my second visit. I didn't want to wait in line, so I aimed to arrive at opening time on Saturday. I was able to enter the store in the first round. The bread gratin was delicious, but the portion was huge, so one of us had a sandwich. It's not exactly what the store name suggests, but I found the bread rolls to be especially delicious! The additional coffee I ordered was very delicious.

I was looking for a large menu with seafood gratin in a large bread, and since it is a popular store, I went to arrive before opening. The seafood is large with scallops, shrimp, squid, and octopus, and there are plenty of cheese lids! The interior of the shop has a nostalgic atmosphere of a coffee shop, and the satisfying menu will fill you up!
