Hakone, Kanagawa, Japan｜Ninja Cafe Fuma

We came from Gora later afternoon (arround 5pm) and craved for a coffee. Ninja Cafe had a lovely sign which leads to the cafe. Cute cafe which serves local and western food. The giftshop is also a great idea and fitted well to the theme. The Ninja chef was very friendly and since we might were the last customer we got some of the ninjashaped bakerygoods for free.

The restaurant isn't very big but there's a little space to eat inside or outside. The guys that work there a very friendly and even let my husband take a pic of one of them dressed as a ninja. The food was great and there's also a section to buy some ninja or samurai inspired souvenirs. I bought a pair of scissors and a pencil that looked like swords. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area again.

10/10 best dining experience (and not just because the ninja staff calls me Hime). Ordered the fried rice (vegetarian option) which was decent. Also had the pizza and that tasted great although a bit pricey. But service was 10/10; nice, entertaining, even educational. So friendly and he spoke in 500 year old japanese so he taught us a lot of new words. Great experience overall
