More Comments at Google MapI stopped by with a colleague from work on the way home from a BBQ. It was a shop with a retro Showa era atmosphere that made me feel nostalgic even though it was my first time there. There were trendy characters of all ages, and the conversation was lively. Apparently there will be another barbecue in early fall, so I hope to be able to go there as well.
It was an irresistible space for me ❤️
Nowadays, shutter shopping streets are no longer rare, and the number of shops in this shopping street in Yokohama has decreased considerably. Once you leave the station, you'll reach the shopping district, where there are almost no shops left. As I was walking near my house with my wife, I noticed that it was a coffee shop. The store has a very distinctive retro feel. Honestly, it's a little difficult to get into. But when I took the plunge and opened the door, I found myself in a nice coffee shop. The inside of the store must also be from the Showa era. Many of the items on display are not recognizable. However, it is surprisingly calming. I don't really understand the difference in the taste of coffee, but it's generally delicious. Whether iced or hot. My wife ordered sweets. I don't know if it's only for that time, but it's cheap. I ate a piece of cheesecake, which was also delicious. I took a deep breath and headed home. I'm sure I'll come again. By the way, the cream soda I drank on a slightly hot day was quite delicious.
