Yokosuka, Kanagawa, Japan｜Tsuki jirushi

My favorite place in all of Japan. She is very sweet, good and drinks were absolutely amazing and she even gave us a gift at the end. Will definitely be going back

This is my favorite place in Japan. I haven't been able to figure out what is it, yet because it's such a mysterious place. It's a mix of coffee shop and restaurant. The owner might seem serious at the first but I understand that she's trying to preserve this place. She doesn't want her beautiful place to turn out like a major coffee shop, and I respect that. She makes the best hot chocolate and biscuits. She takes time and her ingredients are high quality. This is a place to relax and read a book. I love the ambiance. It's traditional and screams Edo period. I highly recommend learning a couple of Japanese words before visiting this place. The owner will appreciate it. No pictures or loud conversation there. I just love visiting this place

Quaint little place, almost a full house, granted there are only about 10 seats in the whole place. Everything including the pastry is homemade. The chef/hostess does it all herself. Coming in for the second time in a week.
