Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan｜Cafe Elliott Avenue

APRIL 2023 Came here a little over an hour before closing and ordered a caffe latte. Not long after I took a seat, the barista came with the cup containing the espresso shot and poured in the milk, finishing with a perfect latte art. It was a cool concept where they do the latte art at your table, however I'm not sure if they do this for every latte order. The caffe latte was very tasty; full body with a strong and pleasant coffee flavor.

Loved the coffee, also so friendly owner, staff, great service. I heard this place is tied up with the guy in Seattle who invented the latte and latte art, is that true? Also so nice touches of art on the wall, other talking points. I regret not trying a Lamington. Thank you very much, hope to get back soon.

My wife and I are from Seattle, a stone's throw away from Espresso Vivace in Capitol Hill where this wonderful cafe draws some inspiration (and ingredients!) I cannot overstate how delighted we were to accidentally find such a loving tribute to our home in Yokohama. Not only is their coffee a faithful recreation of the taste of Espresso Vivace, but the vibe inside both emulates and honors the culture of Seattle extremely well. They even play KNKX radio from Seattle live in the store on a quality speaker system setup. Thank you to the owner and our barista for this slice of home away from home!
