Iruma, Saitama, Japan｜コーヒーとおやつとごはん Tuuli

A small but delightful café near to the station. The customer service was great and the ambience was so calming too. I got a cake set which was definitely worth my money, the handmade cheesecake was fantastic with a homely touch and the presentation was perfect to. I could stay here for hours reading a book or chatting with friends. Will definitely be back to try more food on the menu.

This is the shop that I found by searching Google Sensei this time. The shop was on the 2nd floor and had a glass door at the entrance, so I passed by it once without noticing it. It was a very fashionable shop as it was in the word of mouth. I couldn't read the name of the shop, "tuuli", so I looked it up and it seems that it means "wind" in Finnish. It was around 13:30, which was a little late when I entered, so there were no other customers, so I sat in a single seat by the window. As the store name suggests, it was a wonderful space where you can feel nature. Inside the store, there was a quiet piano BGM that was flowing in a planetarium, and there was a soothing atmosphere. (as pictured) I had already eaten lunch, so I ordered a coffee from the omakase snack (¥850). Snacks are chiffon cake and chocolate terrine (?). They were both delicious. Coffee surprised me. The aroma of coffee and the taste of roasted beans hit me first, but the aftertaste is refreshing and the taste of coffee doesn't linger in my mouth. It was a coffee like the wind like the name of this store. You may have different tastes, but I like coffee because it seems to go well with rice. I wanted to come with someone because it's fashionable, but it doesn't feel like chatting, so it might be a good place to relax alone when you want to relax. I was really surprised that there is such a stylish shop in Iruma. Next time, I would like to go to eat lunch.
