If you find yourself visiting Saitama, and especially if you love tea and fluffy shaved ice, I highly recommend this store. My father's friend brought me here, and I learned a lot from Mr. Kobayashi himself, who even had me try to brew my own matcha (and then fixed it for me when I wasn't very good at it). You'll find it on Enmusubi-dori nestled between beautiful vintage buildings, and you can visit the local shrine while you're at it! All in all, an idyllic snapshot of Japan, just a train ride away from Tokyo.

Saturday in June. On NHK's Exploration Factory program We are focusing on shaved ice machine manufacturers. I came here because I really wanted to eat fluffy shaved ice. I entered the store a little after 16:00, but I was kindly accepted. A family of three ordered matcha, hojicha, and cocoa. It was fluffy and amazing from start to finish. It takes a while from when you order to when it comes out. With this quality, it is inevitable that it will take time. Let's wait patiently. The price is also reasonable at 900 yen. One thing to note is that this store does not have its own parking lot. There are parking lots for worshiping at Mt. Seiten, so please park there. I think it would be a good idea to stop by while visiting the shrine.

The ice is fluffy, the milk is plentiful, and above all, the rich flavor of matcha! As expected of a tea shop, the very refreshing bitterness of the tea is exquisitely entwined with the mildly sweet syrup! Absolutely eat!
