This little roastery is wonderful! I dropped by on a whim because I love to drink locally roasted coffee whenever possible. From the moment I dropped in they were kind and helpful - they even gave me a complimentary coffee scoop to measure my grounds for brewing! Even though I had already selected a small size (200 grams) to sample, they brewed up a cup of what I bought and served it to me right there in the shop. Truly impeccable service in an adorable little shop. Now, for the coffee itself: I asked for their recommended dark roast, and they suggested their single-origin Kenya blend. Generally I take my coffee with a hearty amount of milk as black coffee is usually too harsh on my stomach. However, I tried it black from my french press and I would be hard-pressed to think of a darker, richer coffee that was so mild. It was bitter and flavorful but it didn't upset my stomach one bit - and it even tasted good when I finished my cup (lukewarm)! If you like cute shops, friendly staff, great coffee, and supporting local businesses, this is the shop for you. I'll update again after trying a few more of their roasts.

It is a small ma-and-pa coffee shop that sells specialty beans from all over. If you can speak Japanese, they will help you to select the exact beans that you want.
