More Comments at Google MapI was very surprised most their menu are no meat 🍖!!! Since I vegetarian I was very excited when I found this store!! They didn’t use pretty plates but they really offer the delicious food If want to take rest come here to try their coffee and bread!!!
My friend and I visited as soon as the store opened at 11am on a weekday in mid-May. Located right next to the Yagibashi department store, there were many elderly people visiting the store, and by noon the seats were pretty full, but on that day the atmosphere was quiet and calm. This is great for me in my 60s. I was also lucky enough to be seated at a round table by the window. light from the window. The chamomile flowers outside were swaying in the wind. The store is not very large, and on holidays there are probably a lot of young people, so I'm sure it will be lively and lively, with lots of conversation. Well, this is a place with great food, drinks, and side dishes like cinnamon rolls. Carefully selected materials. Materials that are good for your body. These carefully prepared dishes have a rich and mellow taste. It was a taste that made my body happy. And both outside and inside the store, I feel like I'm at my aunt's (imaginary) house in England. It is a comfortable and simple place that is in harmony with nature, and is full of love that makes you feel a little nostalgic and warm in the sun. (This is my personal opinion) The two of us each had green curry and chili con carne for lunch. It's spicy, but it has a deep flavor as mentioned above. The pickles that came with it also had a nice flavor. Hot coffee is the strong roasted type that I often drank in France. It's nostalgic, but kinder than that one. Trebien! A restaurant with a sense of style that wouldn't be out of place in the center of Tokyo. Considering the transportation costs, this restaurant made me feel happy to be in Kumagaya. I'll bother you again. Aim for a round table as soon as it opens.
A cafe that changes its menu to accommodate vegans. When ordering, we recommend asking if the menu is vegan and if it can be changed to vegan. On the regular menu, quiche (vegan version and gluten-free version) and three types of toast plates are vegan. The accompanying soup may not be vegan, but if you ask the staff, they will tell you, so vegans and flexitarians may want to order it without the soup. Apparently rice flour scones are also vegan. The photo shows Kintoki's quiche plate made with vegan cheese. I received some cute cookies as a substitute for soup. The quiche is quite large and thick, with a satisfying size and rich flavor. The layer of rice under the generous amount of cheese is dense and grainy, and to put it in a less fancy way, it's a Western-style cheese rice ball (super delicious). The pickles and salads are delicious and the quantity is just right. I especially liked the dressing, which I would have bought if it was sold with a sourness that wasn't acrid. There are two types of cookies, cocoa and fragrant sesame, that melt in your mouth. I ordered Mariage Darjeeling, but the pot was heated in a cloth tea warmer. The scone in the photo is a rice flour scone with seasonal jam (sweet and sour rhubarb) and cream. My non-vegan companion had regular fresh cream, but after asking if the menu was vegan, mine was made with vegan fresh cream. This scone also fell apart and was delicious, and when combined with the jam and cream that came with it, it became even more delicious.
