Kawagoe, Saitama, Japan｜Nikendo

A good place to grab some lunch - and there was no queue. It has the quaint feel of an old style coffee shop, but the food was good and nicely displayed. I had the butter chicken curry - not a huge portion but quite tasty.

The owner and his wife are very kind. Totally EEEE... I was embarrassed to compliment my Japanese when I was struggling, but it was nice haha. The atmosphere is nice and there seem to be a lot of regulars. The alley here is also pretty and peaceful. The meal menu also looked delicious.

Although the store is not large, it is a place where you can take a break. It was fun to be able to have a reasonable conversation with the store staff. This is a restaurant that I would like to visit again incognito. The food was delicious and I would like to try the dessert next time.
