More Comments at Google MapI had an amazing time at Hoshino Coffee. First off, in my opinion, the answer is the description. "Hand drip" coffee. Ultimately, what that means is that it is a pour-over coffee method. My cup was absolutely outstanding and I really enjoyed it. I also had a ham and cheese toast, as well as another piece of buttered toast. The shop blends modern art with traditional Japanese style, and was both intimate and relaxing. Service was exceptional. If any of you were to reference my other posts, I do frequent a lot of coffee shops. This one certainly ranks toward the top of my experiences not only in Japan, but also in the United States. I loved my experience here and highly recommend it.
The Halloween soufflé pancakes were super delicious! You can add as much maple syrup as you like! Sweet pancakes and bitter coffee go best.
There is a parking lot, and it is at the corner of the intersection, so it is not possible to turn right. Jazz is playing in the store, and the partitions and tables are dark wood grain, and the contrast of white and brown gives a calm feeling. It's not too loud to worry about other people's conversations, and the atmosphere is good. It might be perfect for reading. There are seats for 2 to 4 people, and there are about 50 seats. Coffee (hot/iced), ole, tea, soft drinks, sandwiches, toast, cakes, puddings, ice creams, etc. There is also a plate meal (around 800-1300 yen).
