Matsubushi, Saitama, Japan｜オリーブ専門店 embrace olive（エンブレイス・オリーブ）

Matsubushi might not be at the apex of the culinary arts, but this restaurant is a great addition. If you make the trip, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. The food, we had the tempura donburi, was excellent and very filling. I don't think I'd ever had rainbow carrots before, but they were delicious. The tops of the carrots were also used in the tempura. The rice, a mix of genmai and a little white rice, was also fantastic. My wife doesn't often praise rice that isn't grown by her mother, but this got the seal of approval. Ice cream with olive oil drizzled on top wad another first for me. Really good. We felt even more special since the olive oil was a premium variety from Kagawa. The shop, selling various olive-derived products is really interesting, although a little pricey for us this time. If I weren't on my motorcycle, I would have bought one of the olive seedlings they sell. We will definitely be going back with friends.

I always visit the restaurant before business hours for work and just enjoy the delicious smell of the food being prepared, but today I was finally able to go there for lunch. I enjoyed plenty of delicious vegetables with gentle seasoning. The olive coffee was also excellent. The atmosphere was good and my wife was happy too. I want to try something different, so I'll go again.
