Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜Milestone

Cute little old English style of coffee house. Tried the toast, cheese cake and coffee all were good. Easy parking just opposite the cafe. Staff and owner are very welcoming and friendly.

Found this tiny place on google and man are we glad we did. Walking in is like stepping into a wonderful time machine. The colors of decor are all a warm cherry red. There’s old school sound equipment with loads of records. Their choice of music was sublime: Louis Armstrong’s version of cheek to cheek. I had the Vienna coffee and my wife ordered the Hōjicha. It was super good. Now I don’t know if I should come back here or the 4 other local coffee spots.

Food, Drink, Environment are excellent! Good place for everyone to have a great time!
