Otsu, Shiga, Japan｜R's HAPPY BAKE CAFE

Stopped on way to local temple, expecting basic café. We were blown away. We had a nine piece bento plate, with hot soup and a six piece dessert plate with coffee. Very tasty food. We do not speak Japanese so server (extremely courteous and helpful) used Google Translate to help with all courses. Incredible value at ¥1,800 each. Definitely highly recommend.

Food was delicious and the owner/server was patient and very helpful despite the language barrier, which was overcome by Google translate. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the temple area.
