Komono, Mie, Japan｜Cafe Suimei

Cafe Suimei has become one of our favourite places in Komono. Stepping into the cafe, you will feel at home, with warm smiles by the staff and soft skylight coming through the huge glass windows. We enjoy sitting at the kotatsu, especially on cold days. We’ve enjoyed every meal and dessert prepared with such skill and care by Chef Miho. We highly recommend Cafe Suimei’s curry rice and Italian tomato nabe (with risotto). We’ve also tried their homemade chocolate cake and Sakura cheesecake which are amazing. Coming to this cafe, you will want to slow down and relax, and not rush off. The food takes a while to be prepared but it is definitely worth the wait.
