Aishō, Shiga, Japan｜Nagomi

Lovely cafe. This is NOT an “old” cafe with the “Showa” flavor that I usually visit. That said, it is new, immaculately clean, very reasonable (¥420 for this set, and you can choose from a selection of drinks), and right next to a large Shrine. This makes the experience peaceful, quiet, and gives a good view.

The two of us were seated before 11:30 for lunch. When I looked at the menu, I thought, ``I'll be there in time for breakfast!'' Up until now, many stores have been polite even when they say they have closed. I added Neapolitan to my breakfast, and it was delicious with chewy noodles. The atmosphere was filled with local regulars, but it had a laid-back, relaxed atmosphere that made you feel like you could stay for a long time. It was a store that I would like to continue to patronize. Last time I used it, I was a little hungry and entered the store at 11:15. I had breakfast and teppanyaki soba. The noodles were thin but chewy, and they came with sauce so you could add it if you like, but it would have been even more delicious if you added a little more. The curry rice type is also delicious with just the right amount of spiciness. This time I had the meat spaghetti, and although the sauce looked a bit light, it had a good flavor and was delicious.

I often use it in the morning. I like the refreshing atmosphere of the store and the delicious cup of coffee. I have a sweet tooth and was happy to be able to specify a lot of bean paste.
