Due to circumstances out of our control we needed to get to Tokyo. This is the most amazing way to do it. It is also called the " night bus" by locals and everyone gets their own sleeping seat, privacy curtain and wake up call for non Japanese speakers. The bus drops you right in front of Tokyo station to catch the train to the airport. A true hidden gem

It's very popular, so reservations for Sunday lunch are a must. It is located on the edge of a rural village. It looks like an old folk house, but it's not that old. If you didn't know about it, you would probably pass by it. The parking lot can only accommodate about 5 cars in front of the store. There are only 6 seats in the store, so you will not be able to park your car unless you come by carpooling, which you will be asked to do at the time of reservation. Reservations are required for Isshin Gozen, but the set meal is sufficient. I had the Isshin set meal, and it was a true Japanese lunch with plenty of vegetables and a wide variety of side dishes. It's a very delicious Japanese dish, and although it looks small, the portion is quite large. Lunch is 1,200 yen, and if you include the lunch drink set, it is 2,000 yen. For the drink, I ordered lotus tea, which was my first time, but it was very fragrant and delicious. I also recommend the curry as it tastes like meat and potatoes.

I had a steamed bread lunch for eat-in! Steamed bread is so delicious! The foods I ate were fig and tea steamed bread and grilled sorghum steamed bread. The steamed bread is different each time. It was a very nice shop, and I could feel that all the staff were very kind from the way they spoke. I want to go again! It took quite a while to get the delivery speed up.
