Sekigahara, Gifu, Japan｜HiKOSA

This was a great little cafe to enjoy a snack after visiting the area and waking around the battle field of sekigahara. The old woman who runs the cafe is very kind and nice. The atmosphere of the cafe is very welcoming and comfortable. I liked it very much. The snack I ordered was very delicious and the yogurt and honey went well with the cake.

We found this little cafe before we started our trip at sekigahara. The curry tasted very good and the room was really lovely decorated. Even though we don't speak japanese we could communicate with the owner. She was very sweet and helpes us. We used google translater to talk to her. I can recommend visiting this cafe!

I recommend that you go with a relaxed feeling because you are the shop alone. I had a cafe au lait and a rich cheesecake. Café au lait is a big bowl like tea utensils. The cheesecake came with homemade (?) strawberry jam and was very delicious!
