Excellent spot. Honestly this is the kind of place and menu that makes me suspicious — it’s in an area where every restaurant was closed, so I felt like a captive audience ready to be forced into some mid food. And the menu has both shabu shabu and pasta — I was like, “How can they do both?” And the restaurant is a lounge which makes me feel like they focus on drinks. But no!! The food was just awesome. They pulled it off! I really loved my pasta bolognese, and it came with a refreshing array of appetizer salads. I feel like the prices were highway robbery from my perspective too — you guys could charge a little more, you deserve it!! I would certainly come back if I visit kawaguchiko again

A quaint eclectic establishment. A gem of a place to visit. It’s a bit hidden , but a jewel when found. We went on a weekday around 7 when it was not busy only a small family was there. There was a hand written sign . “ If you are in a hurry this is not a place to visit. Paraphrase. I couldn’t agree even more. All the fresh food prepared nicely with intent. A Japanese Shabu shabu is quite different from Taiwan or Chinese version, at least in the States. There is an order in how to enjoy the Japanese way. As always, post wherever you end up, how else would you know to visit or not.

We tried the Shabu Shabu dish for the first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful and gave us instructions for the dish. The food tasted amazing and it was really fun to boil everything yourself. The place has a cool interior too. Definitely recommend this place if you are in Kawaguchiko!
