Hidaka, Wakayama, Japan｜CoastCafe楽

Located in what looks like a sleepy coastal town, this cafe is the perfect spot for a break! The view is amazing, don't let the port fool you, make a stop around the viewing points and take it all in (the shop owner knows all the great spots). Coffee here is on point; the CoastCafe coffee was not too bitter or too light bodied. We got to choose our own tea/coffee cups from a nice selection of antique brands. That potato pie is to die for! No added sugars or butter. Light, flaky, just the right amount of sweetness, and just all around delicious! Sadly, I ate mine too fast... I hope I can have time to come back and enjoy another cup of coffee and a light snack next time I'm in Japan.

I was looking for a cafe and found this place. It was quiet because it was on the second floor of the station and the library was next door. It was not crowded and I had a relaxing time. It may be a little-known spot. I would like to go again if I go nearby.

I stopped by on my bike. Very satisfied with the wonderful owner and his wife, delicious coffee, and beautiful location! ! This is a store you'll want to visit again!
