Loved this local renovated townhouse restaurant. The dessert and tea and coffee look great but I can highly recommend the lunch as well!!! Local dishes, friendly staff! Yum!!!

There are two types of menu: basic meals or cafe. This time I wanted to take a break, so I ordered ``Matcha Parfait - with Matcha Sauce'' from the sweets menu and ``Matcha Mont Blanc Latte (Iced)'' from the matcha drink. The Matcha Parfait is filled with matcha-based sweets, and consists of 5 types using aromatic tea sweets. It mainly contains matcha crumble, matcha rare cheese, matcha castella, matcha fluffy cream, and matcha ice cream. The matcha sauce is provided separately, so you can adjust it to your liking. No matter where you eat, you can enjoy the rich flavor of matcha, and the various sweetness and textures mix in your mouth and are delicious. The Matcha Mont Blanc Latte is served without any sweetness, as is typical of Kodawari, where the matcha is brewed after receiving the order. Therefore, it has a surprisingly bitter and mature taste compared to its appearance. Sugar and syrup are provided, so adjust the sweetness to your preference. To be honest, the parfait was also matcha, so the bitterness was more pronounced, but if I had tried it alone I would have enjoyed the richer flavor.
